NTTM-expo

The 10th Russian Science-Technology Youth Work Exhibition (NTTM) will be held 2010. Traditionally 1500 participants from all over Russia aged from 6 to 27 bring their projects to the Expo. Since it started in 2000, over 9000 young scientists, researchers, engineers and inventors have taken part in the show and over 6 000 projects have been introduced.
The main goal of the exhibition is to discover and to provide support to talented young people, to integrate science, education and industry, to develop national and international cooperation in the field of science and technology.

Scientific and technological projects by young scientists, postgraduates, university and college students, as well as representatives of the public youth organizations – the winners at regional shows and contests - will be on display at the exhibition NTTM 2010.

For better resource consolidation and for the possibility to gain the synergetic effect of the exposition organization, the cluster method has been chosen as the most efficient. The exhibition will be organized in 8 main economics clusters:

IT and telecommunication
Machinery manufacturing
Space and Aviation
Nuclear technology
Modern power engineering
Transport
Metallurgy
Innovation

Each cluster is organized in a particular industry both visually and in its content. In the center of the cluster there will be one or several corporations. Around the cluster center there are stands represented by:
Core universities
Scientific research labs
Small and medium businesses
Participants

Apart from the exposition and as part of the exhibition, the business program “Science and Technology” will be held. The main task of the Business Program is to combine the efforts of the Government, big Russian corporations and universities aimed at the development of the professional orientation management system model, and at training and employment of the professionals in the field of engineering and technology.

As part of the Business Program we plan the appearance of State Corporations chief executives, the discussion of the most important aspects of the popularization of engineering and technical professions, professional orientation at schools, innovation boost and the encouragement and development of the innovation market in Russian Federation.
